Why a serum? What exactly are they?
A serum is a concentrated skincare treatment designed to deliver powerful, fast-absorbing nourishment deep into the skin. Unlike creams, which are heavier and often sit closer to the surface, serums use smaller, more lightweight molecules—especially when formulated with natural oils like jojoba, apricot kernel, and rosehip—to penetrate effectively. This serum combines nutrient-dense plant oils and botanical resins (including frankincense and myrrh) to target hydration, barrier support, skin tone, and overall radiance in one simple step.
How do I use it?
Apply 3–6 drops to clean, slightly damp skin. Gently press or massage it into your face and neck. Morning: Use sparingly for a fresh, dewy glow. Follow with moisturiser if desired. Night: Use a few extra drops to deeply nourish while you sleep. For best absorption, apply after cleansing and toning, before any heavier creams.
Is it right for my skin type?
You might be thinking an oil-based serum may make oily skin worse, but our serum is suitable for all skin types, including oily skin. Jojoba oil—the primary base of this formula—is uniquely skin-compatible because its structure closely mimics the skin’s own natural sebum. This allows it to help balance oil production rather than increase it. When oily skin is stripped or dehydrated, it often produces even more oil. Jojoba, apricot kernel, peach kernel, and rosehip oils provide lightweight nourishment that signals the skin to normalise its oil output. This blend absorbs cleanly, supports the skin barrier, and leaves a soft, non-greasy finish.
Where does it fit in my existing skincare ritual?
Use it after cleansing and toning, and before any heavier creams or moisturisers. General order: - Cleanser - Toner / Hydrating Mist - Fairy Infusion Magic Serum - Moisturiser (optional)
Do I still need to use a moisturiser?
It depends on your skin’s needs. This serum is rich in nourishing oils—jojoba, rosehip, black seed, and vitamin E—many people find it provides all the moisture they need. You may still want a moisturiser if: - Your skin is extra dry - You’re in a cold or low-humidity climate - You prefer a dewy, layered finish If your skin feels comfortable after applying the serum, you may not need an additional moisturiser—simply adjust based on how your skin responds.
